Faith In Strangers
Faith In Strangers is a bar, restaurant, and music venue in Margate, Kent. Founded by Jeremy Duffy in 2021, it occupies a panoramic seaview space on the second floor in Cliftonville — combining world-class sound, seasonal cooking, and cultural programming under one roof.
The venue is home to the Poseidon Sound Club — a custom-built Funktion-One system designed for the room. Programming spans live music, DJ sets, listening sessions, comedy, talks, and private events. Previous guests include Norman Jay, Goldie, Leftfield, Joy Orbison, Horse Meat Disco, Luke Una, Mr Scruff, and over 300 other artists.
The kitchen, led by Head Chef Jackson Berg, serves a seasonal menu focused on local produce. By day, the space operates as Work.Club — a co-working space overlooking the sea. Faith In Strangers also runs Friends of Faith, a free membership programme, and hosts private hire for weddings, corporate events, brand activations, and parties.
